Quiet in the early evening. This pub now focuses on London-brewed beers, although it is disappointing that only one in cask is available tonight.

Brew Buddies - Howling at the Moon6.00AcceptableStrong, murky and hoppy. I've tried to like this brewery's beers, I really have. But there is always a taste I personally do not like. I think it must be the yeast.

Early afternoon and busy here – lots of people watching the men’s final from Wimbledon on TV. The Tintagel beers are apparently regular here.

Re-opening night tonight and impressively full. In addition to the beers listed there were two with hand-drawn pump clips, labelled “House IPA 3.2%” and “Brasilia Ale 4.1%”.

The pub is found in Homerton, Greater London, E9 6AS.

This pub was present on Homerton High Street by 1725. It was rebuilt in its present form in 1915 and the purple glazed tiles along the frontage probably date from this time. In 1938, the pub came to national attention when the final of a ladies individual darts championship was broadcast by radio from here. In later years the pub sold Ind Coope beers, before the real ale dried up altogether in around 1990. The pub was relaunched in June 2014 and has a renewed emphasis on cask beer. It is a large pub, with two distinct sides to the main bar, a large rear room and an extensive backyard garden, some of which is covered.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 10 different beers and tried 5 of them.
