Late evening visit. Great building but corporate feel to service. The Thai restaurant looked interesting. CAMRA discount not proferred.

This pub seems to have taken a step up-market since I was last here. Busy, mostly with evening diners. The best bar is the Saloon Bar, and luckily this one is a bit more drinker friendly.

The pub is found in Chiswick, Greater London, W4 5TF.
A CAMRA Heritage pub with a wealth of original features dating back to the 1910 re-build. Two bars, one with a snug fireplace, and a modern extension to the rear which is the Thai restaurant. Some of the loose chairs in the bar, with an unusual lozenge design, are also thought to date back to 1910. Note the old exterior illuminated sign at the end of the right hand bar. Public bar is equipped with 7 handpumps in banks of 4 and 3, saloon bar has 4 handpumps and all of them are of a distinctive white design.
