The pub is found in Scholar Green, Cheshire, ST7 3BQ.

Impressive 1936 built roadhouse in Vernacular Revival design with a thatched roof. The interior holds a wealth of beams all with adze marks for the mediaeval effect. There are four rooms, public bar, lounge bar, Oak Room and dining room. The former off-sales is clearly visible with stained glass bottles and jug in the doorway leading to it. Original tiling in both lavatories featuring various beasts.

We have visited this pub once, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
