This is about the sixth or seventh edition of this very popular event – now a firm fixture on the London beer scene. Twenty-six of London’s brewers are present today. Just a too-short, lunchtime visit for my group as we are off to watch football in the afternoon. Good choice of beer formats with cask, keg, key-keg, bottle and can.

| 40FT - Pale Ale | 4.10 | | Poured from a can. Despite its name, this beer is in the Kölsch style. Very nice too. |
| Gipsy Hill - Six O’clock Swill | 6.50 | | From some form of keggery. Golden and very hoppy. But this glass suffering from a slight metallic taint. |
| London Brewing Co. (Bohemia) - Upright | 4.00 | | Keg beer from London Brewing’s second unit at the Bohemia pub in Finchley. A hoppy Pale Ale. |

A one day, spring incarnation of this event. I had hoped to be there at 11am to beat the crowds, but was waylaid and by the time I got here at noon it was packed. 21 London brewers are exhibiting, selling beer in a variety of formats to a very appreciative crowd.

Last year’s London Brewers Market was a great event, and I had been looking forward to the next one. Noon arrival did not beat the crowds – this is a very popular event – and it was packed from the word go. 21 London breweries had stands, with beer in cask, keg, bottle and can format, and mostly with brewers themselves manning the stands. I list just the beers I drank.

| Crate - Imperial Breakfast Stout | 8.20 | | On keg dispense. A huge, black, creamy, strong stout. |
| Redchurch - Broadway Black Pale | 2.90 | | Low-strength, full-flavour, dark, hoppy beer. |
| Gipsy Hill - Southpaw | 4.20 | | An amber-coloured, bottled beer. First impression was that this beer was a bit shocking and raw, but it really grew on me. Full of Simcoe and Cascade hop flavours. |
| Honest Brew - Straight Up Pale Ale | 4.70 | | A bottled beer from this tiny brewery who are currently brewing at Late Knights in Penge. An impressively rounded Pale Ale. |
