12:30 Went for a walk in the nearby Thornham Woods and came here for lunch. Mainly diners but still a good pub atmosphere.

Reputedly the oldest pub in Suffolk this is a quintessential English country pub with a thatched roof, a wealth of exposed beams with very low headroom and a well in the bar. Nice panelled bar counter.
