Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Batemans - Winter Wellie | 4.70 | Dark beer. Started off well but by the end of the pint it tasted very similar to the XB. I suspect not a huge variation in recipes. | |
Batemans - XB | 3.70 | I used to like Batemans beers but they now seem to have the same twang as Greene King. | |

The pub is found in Skegness, Lincolnshire, PE25 3DB.
Historic hotel dating from 1770, situated about a mile to the south of the railway station. To the left of the main hotel building are two bars, the Tennyson Bar, dedicated to the poet who had an association with the area and the Oak Room, which is a splendid 1930s renovation, fully panelled and with a real fire.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
