I had forgotten what a delightful town Luton is. But there is only so much sightseeing that one can do and I eventually ended up in here.

12:45 Busy with an eclectic mix of clientele. Nice to see pump clips turned round. It didn't dawn on me until I got home but the pub is on the same site as the first pub I went into. 1968, after choir practice, bottled Double Diamond. Today's visit increased my lifetime Luton total to 108. 104 of those were achieved by June 1971. My mate who accompanied me was 18 in the July of that year.

The pub is found in Luton, Bedfordshire, LU1 2NB.

Located at the corner of an entertainment complex. The family area is at the entrance, with the two storey bar area, adults only, beyond. The bar is in one corner and the seating is arranged around a central fireplace. The pub is located on the site of the former Crown & Anchor brewery, closed 1898, and Crown & Anchor pub, closed 1975. The White House name comes from the name of the former brewer's house on the site.
