I picked up a copy of Sussex Drinker earlier in the day which featured a short article about this place so I decided to visit. Google Maps did their best to make sure that I couldn't find it until a friendly lady enquired why I was walking up and down the High Street, and told me not to take any notice of my map or the street signs, and what I really wanted is shown as the A259 on my map. There were three house beers on sale, namely Bad Habit, Gargoyle and Cheeky Chaplin but unfortunately I forgot to make a note of the ABVs so I have not listed them here. (I may update that later). I sampled the Gargoyle which was very good. The staff went out of their way to make me welcome.
