Evening. I hope this relaunched pub does well as the landlady was most welcoming and inclusive.

Formerly the Crispin and then the Wheatsheaf, an attractively fronted building in Slaughter House Lane which most recently re-opened in January 2015 after a refurbishment and re-naming. Hercules Clay was a mayor of Newark during the Civil War and particularly during the town's siege by the Parliamentarian army. 4 handpumps.
