The busiest of the three Roydon pubs I visited this Sunday lunchtime, and the only one that had a significant number of customers who were not here just to eat.

Originally called the Temple Inn, this large pub is set a little back from Roydon High Street and looks across the road directly at the White Hart. Acquired by McMullen’s Brewery of Hertford in 1919. Patio seating at the front.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 4 different beers and tried 2 of them.
