The pub is found in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, SS1 1AJ.
Victorian pub with an inter-war refit. Much altered but still with a lot of original features which has given the pub a place on CAMRA's Heritage pub website. Lots of interesting bric-a-brac including a pulpit that houses the turntables that play the pub's collection of vinyl. The menu is all vegetarian. All glasses are polycarbonate which suggests the pub may get lively at certain times. On one side, the pubsign features local musician Wilko Johnson.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 2 of them.
