We caught a bus from Colne to Manchester and missed our hourly train service to Patricroft by a few minutes and came in here for a pint. Horrified to find that beer was being served in squidgy plastic containers, otherwise fine. I did not see any sign of cask mild this year.

Just after 11am fairly busy with folk having a beer with their late breakfast. Beer was dispensed in plastic cups due to the crowds expected later after visiting the Christmas Market opposite.

A very wet Friday afternoon, we stood in a corner of the left hand part of the bar as there was no room to sit down. A very busy venue at this time of year with people doing Christmas shopping. It was interesting to see a pint of mixed on the price list.
