15:00 Popped in to see the snug. Sadly no real ale even though the bar was equipped with two brand new stainless steel handpumps. The Landlord told us what beers he normally stocks and was more than happy for us to have a look round without buying a drink.

Directly opposite the Saracens Head Inn this is a three roomed pub which appears on CAMRA's Heritage website as having Some Regional Importance. This is for the Top Snug. Located to the right of the entrance door it is a cosy room with a large inglenook. Access to the room is under a particularly low beam.
