The pub is found in Alpraham, Cheshire, CW6 9JA.
One of the country's unspoilt gems. A four roomed pub with its own bowling green. The first room is the tap room which leads to the public bar, a tiny room with fixed seating and a bar back and counter dating from 1937. Beyond this is the lounge bar with its own entrance. The fourth room is a newer addition having been brought into use in the 1970s. The pub is also known as Minnie's, after the landlady who was 92 in 2016. Closed weekday lunchtimes. Two rooms of the pub are currently closed after a lorry collided with the outside wall in 2023. The back bar is still operating.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
