Early evening for a ‘Meet the Brewer’ session with people from Transmitter Brewing of Queens. Not many are here for the event and a succession of businessmen arriving for reserved tables in the restaurant are looking down their noses at the assortment of beards and nose-rings. Pleased to find the first glass of beer is on the house – just as well, as the second costs 12 dollars.

| Transmitter Brewing - B4 Black Saison | 7.20 | | Black, with a rapidly-disappearing tan head. A very interesting beer. Fruity and sour initial taste, then a dry roastiness kicks in. Lingering fruity finish. |
