Disappointingly, the handpump is not in use tonight (or ‘not yet’ anyway) so Robert and I choose one each from amongst the kegs.

Early evening visit for a couple of beers and a pork pie. The handpump not in use tonight, but nine Canopy beers to choose from keg or key-keg and a guest from nearby Gipsy Hill Brewery.

Busy in the mid-evening. Several of the same people whom I saw at Bullfinch are now here. A single cask conditioned beer available tonight.

Canopy was a Herne Hill microbrewery, established in early 2014. Located within a slightly grimy railway arch community close to Herne Hill railway station. Brewery and taproom was closed by end of 2022. Re-opened described as Cocktail Bar, Brewery & Taproom on Thursday 28th March 2024 with 50 seats inside and 150 outside with new operator Bird House Brewery.
We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 6 different beers and tried them all.
