Early afternoon a couple others in, the landlord who'd moved down here from the Mile End area so we had a good chat about East London pubs.

Evening until 10pm close. Good chat with the landlady about micropubs and micro-breweries' finance and distribution arrangements. A well run friendly house.

Refused service at 10.45pm, "we stop serving at 10.30". This was despite an advertised closing time of 11. After some discussion the venue seemed to realise that, to pubgoers, closing time means the last time they can buy a drink not the time they have to leave. Give the place fair dues, as within a couple of hours it has adjusted all its Facebook advertised closing times by bringing them forward 30 minutes to last sales times.

Evening until 10.30pm close. Quiet, on a drizzly night, as seemed all of Sidcup. Work in progress with obvious building works taking place. Good chat with the Brew Buddies brewer who was serving. No Brew Buddies ales on sale as supplies are short once victualling their regular pub outlets.

The pub is found in Sidcup, Greater London, DA14 6ER.
Micropub styled shop conversion (former Party Shop), in Invicta Parade at the east end of High Street, which is closely linked with Brew Buddies Brewery. Initially open Thursday to Sunday on temporary events licences from June 2016 onwards. Full planning permission and licensing in place on 1st September 2016. Real ales sold on gravity dispense from jacket cooled casks from a back room. Cider too. Wall mounted benches provide the seating at high tables. Very much a work in progress for quite a while but now settled in and decor all finished.
We have visited this pub 4 times, seen 11 different beers and tried 5 of them.
