A brief lunchtime visit. Very busy, with all tables taken and plenty standing by the bar counter. Nice to find a Gosport-brewed beer available.

A high street JD Wetherspoon pub which takes its name from a former coaching inn which stood a little further along the street and part of which still trades as Nelson’s Bar. This pub has a relatively narrow frontage but an extensive interior.
