Lunchtime visit. Had just been to the excellent Hockney galleries in Salts Mill, Saltaire. Stopped for a swift one. Almost on the canal - prices have increased a bit since Mac’s visit, but still a reasonable £3.60 a pint. 6 cask ales on.

Very busy late evening with a mini beer festival in full swing in the marquee.
All cask beers £2. All keg beers £3. Great value.

The pub is found in Shipley, West Yorkshire, BD17 7AR.
The brewery tap for the adjacent Saltaire Brewery is housed in a purpose built building in Dockfield Road. One 'noisy' room at the front and a less obvious and quieter room at the back. Plenty of outside seating for when the weather warms up. Usually five cask and five keg lines and a useful bottle shop. The tap closes early so it would be wise to check the hours before travelling.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 12 different beers and tried 3 of them.
