Parliamentary Pub of the Year for Yorkshire & Humberside. In the CAMRA Good Beer Guide since opening & the Halifax Bar of the Year 2018. Situated in a Grade II listed building dating to the 1860s, next to Halifax Town Hall. Small but with lots of outdoor seating. Loads of spirits, 5 cask ales & 6 taps including lager. Wine, tea & coffee (free on Sundays but donations asked for for Happy Days, a local homeless charity). Allegedly UK’s smallest music venue (18 capacity at max) & hold regular live music, social & cultural history talks, music quiz, open mic, jazz, spoken word & more. In the summer outdoor space for music & film. Dog & family friendly till 7. Pies & veg samosas.
