Friday evening, I arrived here in full wet gear with two wet dogs having spent an hour boating through heavy rain and thunderstorms. I sat outside and looked longingly at the busy, warm-looking restaurant area. I was served briskly and the woman said she would let me know if a table came free in the public bar! I politely declined and sank my pint in about 3 minutes - delightful.
