It took two buses from Ruislip after leaving the Hop and Vine to get here, adding up to about an hour in total. Somewhat weary and only the 4th on the list of 6. No way other two could also be done on the London Pubs Group's heritage pubs outing today. Just time for a beer and curry in arriving at about 7.30pm and only made it back to the River Ale House in SE London with just 7 minutes before serving ended at 11pm. Impressive restoration indeed and unusually more spacious than in the average Spoons. Only one bar-tender appeared to exist but pinned them down and got food and beer ordered without an apparent queue in evidence.
