| Timothy Taylor - Landlord | 4.30 | ![]() | Very good head and lacing and lasting on this Keighley-based pale ale from north-west of Bradford. A dry bitter first bite. A fruited hoppiness rising with the merest hint of citrus, aided by its combination of hops: Whitbread Golding Variety/Goldings, Fuggles and Savinjski Goldings. A bitter note jumping up for a pat and a moreishly hoppy bitterness in its tail-wagging on its way out with a hop-infused fruity note sinking. |

The pub is found in Bessels Green, Kent, TN13 2PT.
This old Victorian pub stretches back to at least the late 19th century and comprises on the inside exposed brick fireplaces and walls adorned with all types of prints. Facing a village green, it has a spacious rear garden with seating on the patio and lawn and more private thatched huts. Much of the pub is given over to dining.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
