| Brolly - Burble - English Pale Ale | 3.70 | ![]() | 1st beer of this visit: Very good head and lacing and sticking well to the side of the glass on this golden-coloured English pale ale from Brolly Brewing in Horsham. A lightly fruited hoppy first bite. A subtle hop-infused fruitiness rising with a hint of honey and from its Goldings hops and English malt. A dry hoppiness winning over with floral and earthy flavours lingering on its downwards exit. Very refreshing after the walk from the station and so most welcome and moreish. |
| North Riding Brewery - NRB - Stout | 5.50 | ![]() | 3rd beer of this visit: A very creamy top with lacing sticking resolutely to the glass on this North Yorkshire-brewed stout from Snainton, south-west of Scarborough, and labelled as toasted marshmallow. A dark chocolatey sweetish first bite. A moreishly smoky dry bitterness rising from its traditional English hops such as Bramling Cross giving hints of dark berries and English Goldings for a bitter kick. Chocolate biscuit flavours leaping up with hints of toasted marshmallow tantalising my taste buds. A maltiness* cycling up with a dry and ever so vanilla-tinged chocolatey descent. *Likely to have a mix of malts including roasted to give it, its chocolatey flavouring, Crystal or Caramel malts to add sweetness, and oats to provide a smooth velvety texture from its protein and beta-glucan content of the beer coating the mouth. |
| Floc. - Lip Service | 3.40 | ![]() | 2nd beer of this visit: Very good head and lacing and staying the course on this session pale ale from this Canterbury microbrewery, founded in 2020, with prominent tropical fruit and citrus flavours and a sour touch on its first hit. Hazy in appearance but not too overly fruited despite its peach and mango for my taste buds. A very fruity hoppiness climbing up aided by its Citra and Mosaic hops before a lingering dry and somewhat bitter fruitiness, tinged with a biscuity maltiness, in its finish sailing out. |

The pub is found in Horsham, West Sussex, RH13 5QL.
Brolly Brewing is an independent micro-brewery located at Unit 8, Redkiln Close, Horsham, West Sussex, with its taproom opening in 2023 at the brewery site. It also has The Billi Tap in Billingshurst, West Sussex, 10 minutes away by train from Horsham, and this is their very own micro-pub, in partnership with Little Monster Brewing Company, an independent brewery based in Chichester, West Sussex, founded in 2018 and producing modern, big-flavoured beers. Established in 2017, Brolly Brewing is known for producing natural, unfiltered, and unfined beers ranging from traditional cask ales to modern hazy IPAs. The taproom is a family- and dog-friendly space situated on an industrial estate, offering both indoor and outdoor seating including a permanent marquee. Four handpumps are set up and offers some guest ales from elsewhere. A keg wall offers some 12 craft ales. Food trucks most Fridays to Sundays, plus weekend live music. Many of Brolly's beers have won CAMRA awards for their quality and depth of flavour. Three cask ales on a visit at the end of January 2026 with besides one from Brolly, one from North Riding Brewery, a microbrewery based in Snainton, North Yorkshire, specialising in modern, hop-forward ales and founded in 2015 and with a brewery tap being in a traditional 1850s pub in Scarborough, and the other from Floc Brewing, founded in 2020, and an independent, community-driven microbrewery based in Canterbury, Kent, on Wincheap Industrial Estate, and known for its modern, hop-forward and often hazy beers.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
