My first of two Maida Vale heritage pubs. The interior of this pub is stunning and I could have spent much more time looking at the details. It also has a cellar area consisted of 4 cell-like alcoves with bare-brick vaulted ceilings - all done out in the best possible taste. The LAVATORIES (sic) are also on this level. Had to move on due to time (and influenced a bit by the £7.25 price tag for Landlord).

The pub is found in Maida Vale, Greater London, W9 1EE.

Superb heritage pub In Formosa Street. Two main areas: dining and drinking. The drinking area consists of five bar rooms, each with its own street entrance and only connected internally by 3 foot high “service doors”. A row of snob-screens to the smallest room. A single, peninsula-style servery with an ornate carved wooden feature reaching to the high ceiling. Curved, etched glass windows to the street and more etched glass and wooden screen inside. Intricate tiling to the main entrance. The dining area is more modern, plus leather seating and walls covered in artwork.

We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
