16:30 Whilst my wife sought out a tea shop I came here as it is on the Heritage website. Cracking little pub with a great atmosphere. Fresh hopbine over the bar.

Busy lunch time,but still a friendly welcome.

A CAMRA Heritage pub of Regional Importance as it is largely unchanged since a refit in the early 1900s. Built in seating and wooden panelling. Of note is the original market hours licensing board on the wall by the entrance.
