Mid afternon visit. Only two other customers who insisted on the barmaid turning the televison screen on. Once this happened there was no escape from it, and I left.

There was evidence of some hardy folk in the garden area on this rather cold day but inside there was a welcoming feel as I went with my wife and 2 friends went for our lunch. There were a few others in the restaurant area. The meal was very appetising and excellent value paricularly as Thursday was a 25% reduction day for OAP meals.

On entry there is a small bar area ahead with some seating to the left and a small restaurant area to the right. There appears to be an enclosed garden area at the back. Has regrettably suffered various changes in management in recent years. Demolished late September 2015.
