Just in the nick of time to order a late breakfast before our pub tour and not too busy so our food arrived promptly, and more importantly - hot!. A pleasant atmosphere on a sunny day thanks to its corner position and large windows ensured sunlight for all.

Desperation visit thanks to my intended Chinese restaurant being closed I opted for here and a large dry and chewy mixed grill. Despite the unpopularity of these places amongst real ale drinkers they do serve a purpose when emergencies happen

The pub is found in Grantham, Lincolnshire, NG31 6PY.
A large Wetherspoon's pub close to bus and railway stations. Former Co-op store. Named after the Hon Frederick Tollemache, whose statue stands outside its front doors. Tollemache was the town's MP for much of the 19th century. 15 handpumps, in 3 banks each of 5, always offer a good range of local ales and the usual national suspects.
