1130. Pleasant and trendy type place with three new/unusual ales on. Two pumps noted as not in use this visit. Not sure exactly who brews Trentside Ales, but they tasted good here today.

In Lord Street,a Good Beer Guide entry 2011 (first time). Records show this was the Old Boar's Head in 1821, although it may have been a pub before then. It was the Hickman Arms until about 1930 and then a Rechabite Hall until 2006. The current owner reopened the building as a pub in 2009. Ales from local award-winning Grafters Brewery are always available. Beers sold under the name Trentside Ales are brewed exclusively for R Bar and The Canute. A quiz is held every other Wednesday.

We have visited this pub once, seen 4 different beers and tried 3 of them.
