We sat in the lounge bar and admired the panelling, and wondered whether this pub is listed in the Camra Real Heritage Pubs of Wales, which I had stupidly left at home. Well it is in the book as a try also, and I am glad we did.

A Georgian hotel with views over the Menai Strait, there are two bars, one a public bar which is entered by the door at the extreme left of the building, and a superb wood panelled saloon/loung bar accessed via the hotel entrance.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
