The pub is found in Yalding, Kent, ME18 6EJ.
In Benover Road, a pub in the centre of the village, dating from 1642. Has a large riverside garden. Refurbished in April 2014 following the floods of January 2014 when the water level was around three feet in the bar. Now with new owners who have effectively saved the pub from conversion to housing. Latterly has become effectively a pizzeria and restaurant. Closed and a planning application has been lodged to convert to retail and café which has now happened.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
