Saw this in passing, it had a sunny deck area, we were hungry and thirsty so popped in. Pleasant enough. Late afternoon with a relaxed atmosphere and a good few customers mainly outside.

In Lower Road, formerly The Chequers and re-named in 1987. The food and restaurant side dominate here. Really more a restaurant with a bar. Completely re-fitted in 2015. Operated by Hush Heath Estate.
