The pub is found in Harwich, Essex, CO12 3DR.
GBG 2012 entry: A traditional English pub first licensed as a beer house in 1872. It is easy to find, being next to the church. Once inside you will find the public bar with a pool room, and a bar at the back. A function room is available upstairs. There are two regular handpumps. The Hanover is a two minute walk from the bus and railway stations, making it ideal for a quick visit, or the base to explore historic Harwich using the B&B accommodation situated on the upper floors.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried 1 of them.
