We believe this building is NO LONGER a pub

Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Redchurch - Great Eastern India Pale Ale | 7.40 | Served from a bottle. An outstandingly good, golden, strong, very well hopped, IPA. And I’m not just saying that because I was sat next to the brewer. | |
Redchurch - Bethnal Pale Ale | 5.50 | Served from a bottle. This beer continues to develop and is already a very fine example of a highly-hopped pale ale. | |
Kernel (The Kernel) - Pale Ale - Chinook | 5.40 | Served from a bottle. Pale, cloudy and highly-hopped with Chinook. Interestingly, whilst very good, it was a little in the shadow of the two Redchurch Brewery beers tasted alongside. |

The pub is found in Hackney, Greater London, E8 1LA.
Wine bar and restaurant which opened in a former workshop adjacent to Hackney Downs railway station at the beginning of March 2012. A long and narrow space, with room to sit at the bar or to share communal tables. Sells bottle-conditioned beers from local and very local breweries. This branch of Borough Wines had closed by 2018.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
