Busy at lunchtime, with many people (like me) clutching their purchases from the excellent Stroud Farmers Market. Every table taken by diners by 12:30. I joined a handful of drinkers leaning on the bar. Good to hear the landlord here enthusing about how very good trade is at this pub.

Mid evening visit - 2nd pub of my visit. There is always the latest copy of Private Eye waiting to be read in one corner on the street frontage window sill.
