Lunchtime on a hot day and both the garden and the pub itself are filling up with locals (South Benfleet is not much on the tourist trail). There was also a beer called 'Midnight Sun' with no brewery details on the clip.

A large and ancient pub – one of a small cluster on South Benfleet High Street and close to Benfleet railway station. It has four beamed and woody rooms, with a large garden at the rear. Hides its chain pub status well.
