My first visit to this pub, it did not particularly appeal to me based on the descriptions in other web sites but as I had time to kill I popped in for a pint and was glad that I did as the beer and service was superb. COVID restrictions meant that it was table service in the garden only and everything was done exactly as it should be. Service was prompt and friendly, I returned later in the day for another pint.

Can get busy, and has large beer garden. Food is OK. Service ranges from OK to really slow.
