The pub is found in Cowgill, Dent, Cumbria, LA10 5RG.
Only pub for a few miles in the hamlet of Cow Dub. Large open front bar, with accommodation upstairs. Traditional two bar rural pub with accommodation. This is the nearest pub to the highest railway station in England. Dent railway station is 1½ miles from the pub up (or of course down) a very steep and winding country lane. 2 hand pumps.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 3 different beers and tried 2 of them.
