Somewhat jaded and quiet, I can only reiterate Stephen Harris's comments from his visit in April last year.

What a place this could be with a bit of love and a bit of restoration and greater attention to the cellar and a few more customers.

Historic hotel/pub in the centre of Dartford in High Street. Remained open when Tattershall Castle Group went into administration - not being part of the sale of its some pubs to Stonegate Pubs Co. Subsequently auctioned off and bought by the small pub chain South Coast Inns.
