The pub is found in Upper Norwood, Greater London, SE19 1PL.
Originally a Micropub in a former café shop unit (No. 128 Gipsy Hill) directly opposite the main entrance / exit to / from from Gipsy Hill railway station. It was a ‘pop-up’ pub with a short lifespan, opened at the end of April 2013 with a small bar (with counter) area at the front, with up to eight jacket cooled cask-conditioned beers available from a 2 level stillage. 1 handpump served cider plus there were other ciders in boxes behind the counter. Behind this was a small area with three or four tables and a sofa and a Unisex toilet. Associated with the Late Knights Brewery of Penge. In that guise it was recognised as Greater London's second Micropub on the Micropub Association website. Plans to permanently relocate to a next door property, a former Coomes bookmaker's, came to fruition in October 2014 as the pub moved to No. 126 Gipsy Hill with a bar counter with a total of 16 taps for real ales, ciders and keg taps on the back wall.
We have visited this pub 6 times, seen 27 different beers and tried 11 of them.
