Lunchtime visit. Another tick in my Heritage book. Loads of history of the pub on the walls and other bric-a-brac giving the pub an authentic feel. Regular gave me an eclectic run through of random anecdotes. Sunny today - plenty of seating outside in the pedestrianised road. Only downside - it was a shame about the draught ales.

A delightful small pub with the atmosphere absolutely ruined by the awful smell of somebody vapeing in the very centre of the drinking area. Luckily it was a sunny day and the doors were open but we did not stop for a second pint.

The pub is found in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, IP33 1BJ.

In The Traverse, a contender for the smallest pub in Britain. Excellent untouched interior. Can get crowded. Shame about the beer, all Greene King.

We have visited this pub 3 times, seen 2 different beers and tried both.
