Mid afternoon we took over the saloon bar where a few locals in situ at the bar. Airy and spacious with various music posters from the 60's era decorating the walls plus a jukebox, piano and 60's music playing on vinyl gave a bohemian feel to the place.

I had not been here for at least twenty years and saw that it had appeared in the GBG so I thought I would make a visit. Too trendy for me, dominated by food and the drinkers at the bar, as seems to be so often the case, had positioned themselves in front of the handpumps making it almost impossible to see what was on offer. I told them what I thought of them. It was not well received.
