Historic building on a busy main road close to the waterfront and city centre. Dark oak beams and subdued lights. 5 beers, Gravity fed, all Adnams. Nice selection of bar meals and tables for the restaurant feeling. Food was good, beer was well kept. Worth a visit.

Adnams - Fat Sprat3.80GoodAdnams' seasonals are good beers. Conversely the standard range seem shadows of their former selves.

The pub is found in Ipswich, Suffolk, IP4 1JZ.

Lovely old pub opposite the Briarbank Brewery. A large settle takes pride of place. Beer is on gravity piped through wooden barrels behind the bar.

We have visited this pub twice, seen 5 different beers and tried 3 of them.
