I came in here by chance before noon when I was spotted by a friend who was standing in the doorway having a smoke, part of a group having a late breakfast within.

The pub is found in Colchester, Essex, CO2 7AA.
A large, town centre JD Wetherspoon pub in a building that has been a theatre, a cinema and a bingo hall in succession before conversion to pub use in 1994. There is a variety of seating areas on the ground floor and the former stage area, with many props and pieces of scenery, plus a load of stage dummies looking down from the circle seats.
We have visited this pub twice, seen 20 different beers and tried 3 of them.
