Popped our heads in to see what was available as we only had 40 or minutes before the 18.52 bus back to Sandwich and wished to fit in The Chequer also. All 3 handpumps turned around so an easy decision was made so headed off there.

Surprisingly not the first visitor at 11.50 due to a few well dressed folk gathering before heading off to a wedding nearby. Friendly and welcoming basic locals pub.

Saturday lunchtime and there were only 2 other customers, both sitting at the bar. The non-pool table side of the pub was full of interesting things to look at and in general, I liked this pub. There were 4 handpulls with 2 badged up but turned around. One for the reversed clips was clearly Adnams.
