I came here years ago with Hideaki and spoke about communism. Very popular for its toasties at lunch time and a good bolt hole from the rigours of shopping. Thursday lunchtime and very busy, I got the last free table. Older generation were enjoying their lunch a pint and a natter.

This is down a side street off Church Street, the main shopping street by the large Marks and Spencer. Two room pub, narrow and long. Front room has wooden bar to one side and seating down the other. Rear room has fire, wood panelling and more seating. Interesting photos and prints on the wall.
