first visit here, lovely old fashioned boozer near the city centre, chatty locals, all of whom appeared to be short, strange. I felt quite at home! 60@s music playing, I could have stayed here all night.
Cains - Finest Bitter | 4.00 | | one of those beers which is really nice but with no outstanding features, average aroma some malt, a little hop no real finish but still a damn good pint, a good session beer. |

Pretty quiet on a Wednesday evening to be honest, but it can be busy during the day. I liked the old fashioned feel of a proper unspoilt pub. Good place to come for a beer.
Cains - Finest Bitter | 4.00 | | Very drinkable bitter bitter. |
Jennings (since closure now brewed at Marston's) - Cumberland Ale | 4.00 | Not Tried | |
