Beer | ABV | Score | Notes |
---|---|---|---|
Cerveza Colombo - Porter | 5.50 | A bottled beer. Black. Richly-flavoured, with chocolate and coffee tastes. Dry finish. | |
Cerveza Colombo - Irish Red Ale | 4.40 | A bottled beer. Irish Red Ale is not exactly my favourite style, but this was not bad at all – especially given some of what had come before in recent days. Sweetish and full-flavoured. | |
Cervecaria Cuahtemoc Moctezuma - Sol | 4.50 | From a bottle. Nasty, golden, adjunct beer. |

The pub is found in Ciudad Guzman, Mexico, 49000.
A small establishment on the west side of the main square in Ciudad Guzman – somewhere between a café and a restaurant of the Comida Corrida kind. Friendly service. The restaurant has been here since 1958 and used to feature on its walls some old photos of Cuidad Guzman and the nearby volcanoes – these have now apparently been donated to a museum. The local Colombo brewery is supported here.
We have visited this pub once, seen 3 different beers and tried them all.
