The pub is found in Birkdale, Merseyside, PR8 4AY.
Interesting conversion of a newsagents in Liverpool Road. A supermarket is planning to open a local branch in the centre of Birkdale, currently a very traditional High Street with butchers, bakers etc. The newsagent saw the writing on the wall and has changed his shop into a micro-pub cum beer shop. There are two handpumps, a wall full of bottled beers, hot drinks and snacks. 5 tables with some stools in the window. He still sells newspapers.
We have visited this pub once, seen 2 different beers and tried 1 of them.
