Early evening and friendly welcome in this modern trendy yet relaxed food oriented pub. I sat in the unreserved pick a table left side bar and enjoyed my beers.

12:10 Lunch stop after a trip down a Norwich Undercroft. Very busy. The pub is in the Golden Triangle, Norwich's Des Res quarter, and attracts its residents to dine. The type of people who I describe as the unmannered Middle Class, a blend of ignorance and arrogance. They treat the staff as servants and other customers as invisible. Drama was provided by a mobility scooter coming off the entrance ramp as one of the yummies had moved a chair onto it to make room for a high chair. A group at the bar lifted it upright with the occupant still in it. He decided to park in front of the bar rather than risk the ramp again.

11:45 Walking by saw sign saying ales and went to have a look in the window. Member of staff saw us looking in so opened up and let us a a look inside. They weren't serving until noon so I didn't have a beer but will be returning soon to rectify that.
